Masuizumi Brewery
- Masuizumi was one of the first breweries in Japan to produce ginjo.
- President Masuda has been instrumental in the revitalization of the historic Iwase district of Toyama, where the brewery is located. Over the past 20 years, he has purchased and renovated old buildings, attracting chefs and artists to the area and helping to create a vibrant cultural hub.
- Having traveled and lived in Europe and North America, Masuda brought a global perspective back to his family's traditional business. He has incorporated wine-making techniques, such as using wine yeast and aging sake in oak and champagne barrels, to create new styles of sake aimed at expanding the market beyond Japanese drinkers.
